She’s the voice that speaks her unapologetic mind all the time! From politics to relationships, her opinion is heavy in the city and her flavor is undeniable. Known for her straight forward, but home girl interviewing style, she gets to what’s Vital and asks the tough questions while influencing the culture through education, entertainment and exposure! She has a unique way of entertaining and uniting people while advocating and addressing issues. Through her written and spoken words, her singing voice, eclectic style, and creative productions, Woo is sure to leave you with happy feelings and tons of memorable moments no matter what platform you experience her on.

Lady Woo started her ungraduated studies at Alabama State University and went on to graduate from Miles College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications. Woo is a graduate of the University of Montevallo with a Master’s degree in Education Couples and Family Counseling and is a professor at Miles College in the school’s brand new Psychology Department . She looks to fuse communications and counseling to further push the culture in a positive direction by breaking negative cycles and finding new identities where needed.

Lady Woo has been heard on local radio for the past 15 years and is now on V94.9 WATV. She is the creator and host of the award winning Vital Show that chops it up about people, places, things and initiatives that are relevant to the listening audience. Woo is also the founder of Vital Entertainment and Media Associates, a company created to capture the arts through service, community events, consulting, and partnerships.

She is the Mental and Behavioral Health Program Director at The Dannon Project and owner and operator of Vital Life Family Counseling.

Lady Woo is the proud mother of Miss Carmen Sumone who is a character and creator coming into her own!
