Paris Jackson was the latest guest to make an appearance on “Red Table Talk.” However, this episode was different as the full episode was curated by Willow Smith as the two friends had a deep discussion on the red couch.
During the episode, Paris was an open book, and while speaking about their social anxiety following the pandemic, she revealed that her social anxiety has been hard for her to deal with because she experiences audio hallucinations from camera clicks. She says that it’s a result of being photographed by the paparazzi all of her life.
“I’ll hear like a trash bag rustling, and I’ll like flinch and panic,” she said. She continued, “I think it’s just standard PTSD.”
Paris also spoke about her past suicide attempts and said, “A lot of people do feel regret when they try to attempt suicide, like a last minute regret. There have been times when I did and there have been times when I didn’t, where I was upset that it didn’t work. But I can say several years later, I’m really grateful that it didn’t, things have gotten better.”
She credits not knowing who was at the time, pressure, people telling her to kill herself, and depression as the factors that have led to her attempting to take her life in the past.
Nonetheless, she seems to now be in a more positive space within her life.
She and Willow spoke about her budding music career, her current relationship with her mother Debbie Rowe, and other things that currently contribute to her happiness.
