(WIAT) — We are just days away from the start of summer which means the Fourth of July countdown is on!

We’ve got an early look at all the places you can catch fireworks shows this Independence Day.

Independence Day 1776 with CBS 42
American Village
Montevallo
July 4th
11:30 a.m.- Historically themed events begin
Fireworks begin at dark
Admission is $5 (free for war veterans and active duty military)

The American Village show with CBS 42 is part of the Southern Original series sponsored by Pepsi

Fire on the Water    
Oak Mountain State Park
Sunday, July 1st
Gates open at 7 a.m., close at 7 p.m.
Fireworks go off at 9 p.m.
